touch polish design

Dotknij Mnie - Touch me - is the name of a trendy little bookshop and design boutique on Długa Street.

This brilliant creative endeavour is fairly new to the neighbourhood, and collaborates with Polish artists and designers, such as Zwei Frauen, KOMBOKOLOR, Divadlo, Maggie Square, and many, many more, on a consignment basis. It's a great way for designers, who cannot or do not want to open their own shop, to get their wares out to a wider public.

Products on display vary from unique clothing items, to handmade jewelery, accessories, toys, postcards, paintings, and even furniture.

The bookshop section of Dotknij Mnie has a good selection of design titles, but there are also books about Gdańsk, a children's books corner, and others.

The interior is bright and modern, with elements of bookshop, gallery and boutique nicely blended into an inviting, open-plan space.

They are open all week from 11am - 7pm. So drop in and support Polish design!

looks good - I will definitely visit in a few weeks. Do you know is there some place to buy vintage Polish items eg: communist propaganda posters, jewellry, old kitchen items etc?
