Recently opened Fajne Baby! Cupcake Bar is the first of its kind in Gdańsk. The name is a fantastic play on words in Polish, meaning both ‘fabulous women’ and ‘fabulous cakes’!

The bright, modern interior looks more like a cupcake boutique than a bakery, displaying its sweet delights like gems in a jeweler's cabinet. And if you are lucky a surprise may be waiting for you underneath one of the many delicious cupcakes and muffins, marked by a cupcake or coffee cup sign.

It’s not an easy task choosing among the many delicious and pretty treats. I can personally recommend the carrot with cream cheese & orange peel, and the raspberry & chocolate cupcakes, as well as the vanilla, apple & walnut, and the chocolate and plum muffins. I found both the cupcakes and muffins easy on the sugar and many of the toppings are cream cheese based. I believe there are also gluten-free varieties available on Tuesdays. Let the friendly staff help you choose your favourites! 

Fajne Baby! Cupcake Bar also serve coffee and is open all week from 9am! Find them opposite the Gdańsk Market Hall on the corner of Świętojańska and Lawendowa Streets (70/71/1 Świętojańska Street).
